Gabon · Human-Wildlife Conflict

We uphold the rights of the victims of human-wildlife conflict.

We develop the cultural and socio-economic potential of the rural world, so that Gabon's communities and wildlife can thrive together.

In Gabon, human-wildlife conflict now claims more victims than poaching. When habitat disappears, elephants move toward the villages, and it is rural families who pay the price.

Why we exist

A charity born from a loss.

Christ Ngoma carries the name of a 24-year-old young man, killed by an elephant while searching for food.

He left behind a pregnant partner. From this tragedy came the determination to promote, educate and encourage every initiative aimed at preventing the dangers linked to large mammals and standing with the communities affected.
